This week in Crested Butte has brought an unexpected chill in the air. On the official last day of summer we had our first significant snow fall. That meant on the first day of fall we woke up to a beautiful snowy landscape, with over an inch of snow on the ground throughout the Crested Butte Valley.
There are still many activities to partake in around the area. The Crested Butte Mountain Theatre presents William Shakespeare’s As You Like It, starring some of Crested Butte’s most talented artists. The show opened up last night and will run through October 3rd.
Local film maker MSP Films premiers their newest release In Deep: the skiing experience today with show at 5, 7, and 9 at the Center of the Arts.
We are supposed to have a wonderful weekend with the temperatures starting to rise. Now is the time to get out and hike or bike, before the snow returns. Have a great weekend.
