To Our Loyal Lovers of “The Butte”,
The summer has started out with some great festivals and events, with many more to close out the season. With more visitors in town and the lovely Crested Butte summertime weather, our local real estate market has begun to heat up like the mid-summer temps.
The first half of the summer has brought over 24 million dollars worth of property sales, with more properties coming under contract daily. As you can see in the review of the May, June and first half of July sold listings in our area, and the properties that are currently under contract as of July 22, 2009, the market has been busier in the last six weeks than the first five months of the year.
Now is definitely the time to contact one of our agents about getting in on the Crested Butte real estate market before some of the best values are gone.
Best regards,
The Benson Sotheby's International Realty Team
Seizing the Upside of a Down Market
Buyers Are Coming Back Into the Market— and Getting Great Deals
Whether the real estate market is in turnaround is still a question, but what’s not up for debate is that some market insiders are detecting encouraging signs.
Low interest rates and attractive housing prices have lured some people back in the market. What’s holding other qualified buyers back? It isn’t financial instability or lack of liquidity. Call it market angst.
